“People, who dedicate their lives to preserving our nation’s culture, receive this award. They come from small towns, their names can’t be found in newspapers, but they do what’ really important – they try to give our children and grandchildren what we have, our cultural heritage, language and history. Wherever you are, please, find these people and send the information you have about them to the Organizing committee of the award, because we have to know our heroes”, - said the member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation, deputy director of Polenov museum-reserve Natalia Gramolina.
The “Cultural heritage” award was founded in 2005 by the “Revival of Russian Estate” National Fund under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
